Élodie Rama

Élodie Rama est une artiste d’origine martiniquaise, Nantaise pur jus et Marseillaise d’adoption. Artiste visuelle, animatrice programmatrice sur Radio Grenouille à Marseille et Dj, c’est avant tout une chanteuse autrice compositrice qui a collaboré avec de nombreux artistes en France et à l’étranger (IAM, Hocus Pocus, Natural Self, Sly Johnson, Bojan Z, Renegades of Jazz…).

Son premier EP « Strange Island » est sorti fin 2013. « Constellations », son premier long format, réalisé par Atom (C2C) est sorti début 2023 (Mahögani/10h10). Revendiquant son identité créolisée, sa musique se situe hors des frontières : français, anglais, créole ou encore espagnol se mêlent dans « Constellations » !

Composé de 11 titres mélangeant tour à tour, Soul, R&B moderne encore pop, avec Akhenaton, La Chica, Témé Tan et l’écrivain martiniquais et Prix Goncourt Patrick Chamoiseau…

Toujours prête relever de nouveaux défis, Élodie Rama travaille en ce moment sur l’écriture de la musique de la pièce de théâtre « Et ce fût comme un baiser », mise en scène par la Lovely Compagnie, dans laquelle elle chantera et jouera la comédie dès fin 2024 …

Élodie Rama is a Martinican artist, based in Marseilles, France. Visual artist, Radio Host/selector on Radio Grenouille in Marseilles and DJ, she is above all a singer-songwriter who has collaborated with numerous artists in France and abroad (IAM, Hocus Pocus, Natural Self, Sly Johnson, Bojan Z , Renegades of Jazz…).

His first EP « Strange Island » was released at the end of 2013. « Constellations », his first LP, produced by Atom (from C2C) was released at the beginning of 2023 (Mahögani/10H10.). Claiming her creolized identity, her music is beyond borders: French, English, Creole and even Spanish mingle in “Constellations”!

Composed of 11 tracks mixing Soul, modern R&B and pop, with French Rap Superstar Akhenaton, La Chica, Témé Tan and the Martinican writer and Prix Goncourt Patrick Chamoiseau…

Always ready to take on new challenges, Élodie Rama is currently working on writing the music for the play “Et ce fût comme un baiser”, directed by the Lovely Compagnie, in which she will sing and act for the first time by the end of 2024…
