TAGGY MATCHER x Élodie Rama « On and On »

Je suis tombée par hasard sur l’edit reggae d’On and On par le producteur lyonnais TAGGY Matcher. Ce titre d’Erykah Badu est l’un de mes morceaux préférés du disque Baduizm, et l’un des morceaux fondateurs dans mon chemin artistique. Avant la sortie de mon prochain projet, je me suis accordée la liberté d’une cover, qui plus est en reggae, genre que j’affectionne d’autant plus particulièrement depuis ma rencontre avec Prince Fatty sur le morceau « Midnight Sun » en 2010 à Brighton. J’aimais tellement la version de Taggy Matcher que j’ai voulu y poser ma voix, here it is!

« On and On » is one of my fav Erykah Badu’s songs. I still remember the day i bought the Baduizm Lp, and well, it changed something… In 2009 Taggy Matcher released « Hip Hop Reggae Series, Vol. 1 » featuring his very own edit of « On and On » and i found his version so dope that i wanted to add my vocals on it.
